I have been diagnosed with an incisional umbilical hernia and suggested surgery. On ultrasound scans, a fibroid measuring 5.8x4.5 is been detected too outside the uterus. We consulted two hospitals. One hospital surgeon suggested this both surgery can be done laparoscopic surgery and no open surgery is required. But the second hospital surgeon suggested going for open surgery along abdominoplasty. We are confused now. We wanted the tummy reduction also after surgery. Pls advice which is best advice in this case.
