X-Ray Barium Meal is a diagnostic test that takes images of abnormalities of some inner body parts like, stomach, esophagus, and others. This test takes X-Ray type of images through radioactive rays. Normal X-Ray takes the images of bones whether barium meal is an advanced test that goes into the softer parts of the human body. The barium meal X-ray is called fluoroscopy. This advanced test method applies to view the radio-opaque tissues. By using the barium meal technique doctors want to visualize the irregularities of upper Gastrointestinal. Through radiography, the X-Ray image has been produced an exact condition of the spot.

The X-Ray Barium Meal diagnostic test needs a doctor's advice to be prepared. There is some proper instruction that has to be followed for getting the correct report. Generally, this test is referred to do in the morning, because the stomach has to be empty. An empty stomach is the primary and most important criterion of X-Ray Barium Meal Upper GI.
