I am a hypothyroid patient. But in recent report my tsh is 1.1. And all other blood tests like kft lft sugar blood and cbc r normal. But due to some symptoms like weight loss and tingling on face etc my physician reduced my dose from thyroxx125 to 100. But now my throat and mouth remain dry whole night. I have a problem sleeping now with dry throat and mouth. Is it due to reduced dose or something else.

Hypothyroidism does not have any significant effect on salivary secretion. So thedryness experienced is most likely unconnected with hypothyroidism or due to reduced dosage of thyroxine. Since tsh level was 1.1 milli units, doctor might have decided to reduce the dosage. Ideally on treatment tsh should be between 3 to 4 milli units.
