Hii I have prolactin 17.96. Because of antipsychotic drugs amisulpride 10 years. Now problem is my anxiety and stress is very high. Is due to high prolactin. My testosterone also is low. But I can not leave medicine because I leave medicine my body inside feel like empty loss of concentration. No interest in any work. Can endocrinologist solve my issue?

Sir, prolactin upto 18 may be considered normal in certain labs, since I don't have your report so I would not be able to comment on same also for low testosterone you may consult endocrinologist after discussing with your psychiatrist a change of antipsychotic can be done depending on your symptoms and releif obtained on medication.

Dear lybrate-user, endocrinologist will solve your hyperprolactinemia by finding the cause of it. If it is amisulpride, you need to talk to your psychiatrist to try other antipsychotics to relieve your symptoms. Please follow up with the psychiatrist.
