I am suffering from stress and anxiety due to work related and few family issues since 2-3 yrs. I did cortisol tests due to fast heart rate etc it came out elevated. Can you please advise how to treat high cortisol and anxiety please.

Dear lybrate-user, cortisol is the stress hormone. Cortisol is released whenever anyone is under stress. We tend to feel stress unnecessarily and that cortisol is not used and it will become toxic to the system. The body finds it difficult to remove these toxins adding to further stress.
