Hi I am shaista meri 21 april ko delivery hui uske pehle meri thyroid or anxiety ki medicine chal rahi thi .thyroid ki thyrox 75 mg or anxiety panic attack ki escitalopram 05 mg chal rahi thi but abi meri dono dawa band hai qki Dr. ne kaha k breastfeeding krwaoge to wo bacche k andr b jayngi medicine isliye mene band krdi. But abi mujhe jo b anxiety k symptoms hai sb ho rahe h, jese choked neck tight neck, shortness of breath, fear for no reason, unable to enjoy things, feeling fear when alone, shakiness of body, lack of sleep, abi mujhe samajh n ni arha k medicine fir se start kru ya nahi, coz medicine se mujhe kaafi fayda ho rha tha anxiety bnd ho gai thi but abi firse saare symptoms ho rhe m so stressed please help me.

Hi, please restart you previous treatment immediately in consultation with a psychiatrist. Stopping thyroxine is not going to benefit you or the child. Yes, escitalopram goes in to breast milk, but there is no sufficient evidence of it's harm to the child. Overall your child needs your utmost attention, care and affection at this point of time and I am sure you are unable to deliver that. Anyway there are more harms rather than benefit of stopping these medicines in your state. Thanks.
