My doctor believes I have eczema which has developed recently and i'm on a referral to speak to a dermatologist. I've been prescribed cetraben and trimovate but one area i'm concerned about is both my nipples. They're swollen, itchy, very red and looks like the skins peeled off, but weeping heavily (even through a bandage). I feel like it's getting worse having applied cetraben too it. Do you have any advise on how I would be able to reduce the weeping/inflammation of my nipples if it is eczema? Should I be applying cetraben too it as well as trimovate?

Dear patient. It is difficult to diagnose your problem without proper examination. You may consult a dermatologist nearby your native place or you may share the pic of affected area on private consultation. I would like to advise you ayurveda treatment for fast relief and no specific side effects. You may be having fungal infection and hypersensitivity. If their is discharge from the nipples then there may internal pathology also for eg mastitis. In my opinion both the treatment you are taking are not appropriate. Avoid spicy oily and junk food.

Hi the medications prescribed to you are correct and it should clear your eczema .to begin with apply a thin layer of cetraben over your breast area and over that apply trimovate cream .twice daily for 4 days and then only at night for next 4 days .after 8 days stop trimovate and continue using cetraben. Also after 8 days start pimecrolimus gel and apply daily at night over cetraben for three weeks. This will help in recurrence.
