Dear sir, m 36 years old women. I want to put copper t. But I want to know in future if I do any kind of blood test in that result shows that I wear copper t? Like any rage change which shows I have some thing in my body. Or I took mifepristone tab so is this contains shows in any blood test result? General test, allergy test, food allergy test etc.

Hello Lybrate user you can use copper t, which is used as a contraceptive method. Copper t can not be detected by blood test. But if you do usg abdomen, it will be detected. If you insert copper t, there is no need to use mifepristone tab.

Generally copper t is not found to be detected in blood tests though it may be seen in imaging. Mifepristone doesn't show in either tests.

First of all I am very happy that you are considering copper t there are lots of myths around copper t but if inserted properly and if it suits you, it’s the best contraceptive. There is no blood test that shows that you are wearing copper t. No such test for mifepristone as well.
