Hello, my age is 32, I have hypo thyroid and my right side of the upper stomach is bloating heavily and I am unable to eat anything. I underwent for ct scan for abdomen and ct scan says my liver is 15.7 cm and it is mild enlarged in size, shows fatty infiltration with normal enhancement pattern. Impression: mild hepatomegaly with fatty infiltration. What is the best medicine to cure my problem permanently. My stomach is bloating regularly but I am getting thin (hands and legs).

Initial stages of fatty liver can be managed with diet and exercise. A low fat, whole food plant based diet, rich in fibre, fruits and vegetables along with exercise may help you reverse the fatty liver. Also smoking and alcohol need to be stopped. For bloating you may have fryuits and vegetables rich in soluble fibre instead of insoluble fibre. Temporarily an antuflatulant can help. Hope this helps.
