I am a 20 years old girl. 5'3" height and 60 kgs weight. I put on some weight in past 3 months due to staying in home after my college ends. Recently, in past 3-4 days, I feel heavily bloated, right after my meal inspite of eating light food. Its an unusual bloating and my tummy feels like a balloon. In the day its bearable but in night its very irritating. Why this is happening and how to get rid of this?

Make time for exercise. Exercising might actually make you gain a few pounds of muscle when you first start, but it's an essential component of any long-term, sustainable weight loss plan. Regardless of how busy you are, it is essential that you make time to exercise each day if you actually want to lose weight and keep it off. Even little things like walking instead of driving to the store can affect how quickly you lose weight The best way to get into exercising is by picking exercises that you are actually going to do and, hopefully, enjoy. If you hate running, don’t make it your main form of exercise—you will need much more motivation each day than if you picked an exercise that you actually enjoy. Instead, try out different exercises until you find a few that you really love, like swimming. ake up cardio training. While a combination of cardio and resistance training are important for overall body health, cardiovascular training is what will help you shed those pounds quickly. Weight and resistance training do not lead to immediate weight loss but can trigger your metabolism to use energy more efficiently. Count calories. Knowing how the minimum amount of calories your body needs to function correctly will help you make your own personalized healthy eating plan and lose weight in a way that's quick but sustainable. Your individual calorie needs will vary based on age, gender, height, and activity level. There are online calculators you can use to determine the amount of calories you should be consuming each day. The minimum number of calories you should eat a day is 1200. Do not go below this level without medical supervision. There are certain foods that keep you feeling sated for hours. Try incorporating the following foods into your diet: Grapefruit,Oatmeal,Apples,Eggs,Ginger,Nuts,Leafy greens,Potatoes,Dark chocolate,Spicy foods Identify your food triggers and plan accordingly. Food triggers are the activities we do that make us want to snack. For some people, it's sitting down to watch a movie at night; for others, it's studying late at night. If you know your food triggers, you can plan for them—fill your house with healthy snacks or have them on hand. Watch your portion sizes. Incorporate appropriate portion sizes into your meal plan. For instance, a healthy snack of almonds and dried cranberries can turn into a huge calorie source if you don’t pay attention to quantities. Also, preparing pre-apportioned healthy snacks can help you avoid mindless overeating and can make it convenient to grab a healthy snack Don’t skip meals. Eating a healthy breakfast increases your resting metabolic rate earlier in the day, keeps your energy levels high, and may help you resist the urge of high-calorie snacks throughout the day. Plan to eat a small snack or meal every two to four hours to keep your metabolism active. Eating regularly also keeps your blood sugar stable and reduces unhealthy calorie binges or deviations from your meal plan FOR MEDICATION CONSULT ONLINE IN PRIVATE

Please try to change your eating habits and adapt a healthy diet. Right now, eat only simple and easy to digest food ( which is freshly prepared at home ). Later once your problems subside then you can eat healthy and balanced diet. Avoid outside food ( junk food/processed/ packaged food and beverages ). Adapt a healthy lifestyle so that you can stay fit and energetic.

Hello Doctor,
I am a female, 28 years, unmarried weighs 56 kg. My stomach is always bloated, the reason being unknown...
Based on the history you have provided, ostensibly it seems to be mild gastritis .you have written that you have consulted doctors and you r already been prescribed the relevant medications for gastritis and you have already undergone the USG scan. This kind of gastritis occurs mainly due to your altered lifestyles, mainly sedentary and stressful. All the medicines that have been prescribed can help you only partially but remaining life with you you need to change your lifestyle habits I would suggest you to continue on the medications at least for the next one month along with the following Lifestyle changes 1) avoid coffee tea and chocolates 2) consume food on time and this has to be practiced judiciously 3) avoid fatty meals, prefer fibre filled diet 4) consume lot of water (3 to 4 litres a day) 5) practice meditation for 5 to 10 minutes a day this will ease out the stress 6) make it a point that you exercise minimum 30 minutes a day (brisk walk or slow jogging) if you follow these steps properly it will help you to come out of your problems.
