Hello, I underwent a successful 90% tca peel to remove this cholesterol deposit (xanthelasma) I had on the tear trough area. Once the scabbing naturally fell off, I am now not sure what I should be applying to avoid pigmentation (other than spf50). The area is now pinkish-dark purple, like a bruise. I have these products, hydroquinone, vitamins, tretinoin, alphaarbutin, silicone, kojic acid. But worried to use them on thin skinned area. Is niacinamide or azelaic acid safer options? Please let me know of your opinions.

Just use a moisturizer or petroleum jelly like vaseline for 1-2 weeks. For best advise see a dermatologist who will assess the problem and then prescribe. Its in your interest not to go for an online prescribed medication. Its difficult ,rather impossible to give a prescription online without seeing a patient
