Hi doctor, my newborn son weighed 2.9 kgs at birth, after few days he is 2.6 and finally back to 3 kgs at first month. Now he is one month 9 days old. His weight is 3.2,is this normal or low weight? He is always crying alot, does crying affects his growth? And few days before he is constipated for 5 days, doc gave syrup after that he passes the stool. After birth he experienced little jaundice, so doctor gave 2 days photo therapy after that he is normal. What's going on, is all are normal? Please help me.

Crying is just natural. Second if mother is week or low birth baby needs sometimes photo therapy. Baby will be healthy keep in mind if mother take proper nutrition and life style modification throughout the pregnancy. So be alert and provide proper nutrition to baby and take time for yourself too.
