I have severe pain in my feet and ankles, sudden onset. Last june 2020, I had sudden onset of breathlessness on minimal exertion. C19 test was negative. At this time, I noticed a band of painful swelling around my ankle, right side. .this gradually after few months eased though never disappeared and then began to appear on left ankle also. Periodically both areas became painful and puffy. Now a year later, it has reappeared and is very tender to the slightest touch and appears to be slowly moving up both legs with severe pain almost like how I imagine a shin splint! I was started on thyroxine 25 last september but I don't feel any different. Please advise on what to do. Mobility is restricted as a result which has affected all areas of my life. I work in healthcare and am on my feet a lot when there. Sadly however I am unable to attend at the moment owing to the issue. Movement of feet are at times excruciatingly painful in past 72 hrs. I had my 2nd jab near the end of april. I wonder might it be associated with the thyroxine medication. Thank you in advance for your reply. Stay safe.
