On jun 10th I took covid vaccine. Can I smoke from 11th june, will there be any side effects or I shouldn't consume tobacco. I am unable to control smoking habit. How many days I shouldn't smoke after vaccination.

It is difficult to advise on smoking since studies aren't usually conducted for active smoking habit. But smoking doesn't have much of a relation to how the covid-19 vaccine works on the immune system, only that chronic smokers have decreased immunity. In case you are interested in quitting smoking, we can have a gradual reduction in habit along with medications to take off the unwanted withdrawal symptoms. Especially since at your age, by weaning off smoking habit, there is a high chance to recover lung function and prevent complications later in life.
