My eyes itching a lot last many days, eyes become red when I rub. Watery eyes. Very difficult to hold rubbing. Suggest.

Hello sir. Your symptoms are suggestive of allergy. Let me assure your first it is easily treatable with the right medicines. An eye doctor will like to know some more details before prescribing you drops. Do you have frequent cough cold or any allergy of other kind? Since how long you have these symptoms? A good quality picture of both eyes can provide a lot of information. It is advisable to try and not rub. Rubbing the eyes causes more release of histamine (an allergic chemical) which leads to more itching and creates a viscous cycle. Wash your eyes with cold water or apply ice packs over closed lids.
