I would like to know the reason for the ovarian cyst in neonatal (does duphaston or proluton side effect lead to ovarian cyst), can be cured if detected in 3rd trimester.

Hello. To comment on this an indepth look into all the scans are needed. To know what is the nature and size of cyst. If it is both sides or one side.

Ovarian cysts in the fetus are caused through maternal hormonal exposure usually hcg. Duphaston or proluton usually are not given in doses that can cause them. Treatment depends on their size. As many resolve spontaneously, they only require constant monitoring. It's better to wait after delivery and then decide further course of action.
