Duphaston 10 mg Tablet is an artificial synthetic substitute of progesterone, a female hormone naturally produced by the body. It has the similar action to that of female hormone. This is a steroidal progestin. It contains Dydrogesterone as an active ingredient.

Duphaston 10 mg Tablet works by reducing the growth of the endometrium. The drug activates the progesterone receptors, which in turn helps normal shedding of the womb cells and promotes healthy growth.

Duphaston 10Mg Tablet is helpful against dysfunctional uterine bleeding and irregular cycles, hormone replacement therapy, abortion, miscarriage, infertility, premenstrual syndrome, recurring miscarriage due to progesterone deficiency and many other conditions.

This medicine is not recommended for use in patients below 18 years of age. It is also not recommended to the pregnant or breastfeeding women. The patient must ensure that the treatment is completed as it should not be stopped in between without consulting the doctor.
