About Dydrogesterone

Dydrogesterone is an artificial synthetic substitute for the bodily produced natural hormone called progesterone. Absence, irregular or painful menstruation is effectively treated by this drug.

The main medicinal functions of this drug are complications like menstrual disorders, miscarriage, endometriosis, infertility, etc. It is also used during IVF for implantation with success. Also, it is used in hormonal replacement therapy and usually orally administered. It is a steroidal progestin.
