I have dandruff for long it's not seborrheic dermatitis I guess, cuz there is no pores formation and no redness ,yes but the white flakes are more and little big that the tiny ones. I have consulted with doc. He have asked me to apply onabet solution, does it have any side effects and do need to wash my hair after applying?

So, dandruff can be controlled in this age group and not cured completely. Use ketoconozole containing shampoo like head and shoulders, scalpe etc to control dandruff. Reduce oily foods, non vegetarian foods, sweets and chocolates ,dairy foods to control dandruff. Sometimes psoriasis scalp also can be mistaken for seborrheic dermatitis which need to be examined properly for confirmation of diagnosis.
