My mother is diagnosed with localized carcinoma breast last week. Some of the doctors are saying it is better to do first surgery and then go for the chemotherapy and on the other hand others are saying first chemo and then surgery. Now we are on a dilemma which would be a better option. Can any one help us out!

I am sorry to hear about your concern but will be happy to assist you. Most women with breast cancer have some type of surgery. Common types of breast surgery are lumpectomy, mastectomy, and taking out lymph nodes from the underarm. Women who have a mastectomy may also decide to have the breast shape rebuilt, either at the same time or later on. Let's connect over a call so that we can discuss your concern in details and make a suitable treatment plan for you.
