I got covid positive on sunday with symptoms of sore throat and fever. I took ivermectin, doxycycline, paracetamol/dolo, atoz, limcee, zincovit and my fever is mostly fine now. Just that sometimes the temperature is coming around 99. Do I need to take more medicines? Please advise.

Dear Mr. lybrate-user, sorry to hear that you are covid 19 positive but glad that your symptoms are well in control. Please remember that the covid 19 is a viral infection and you are using antibiotics which work against bacteria but not the virus. However some medicines seem to help in some patients and therefore they are being advised and prescribed those drugs. Since you don't have any new symptoms, please avoid taking too many drugs as they may cause side effects. Please keep in touch with your doctor and report any new symptoms so he/ she can give you the appropriate medicine.
