There is a fever around 101 after taking paracetamol starts decreasing to 97 but after six hours again fever sets in the same condition in addition some shivering is also there for few minutes so an antibiotic ciprofloxacin is being used what is the problem there.

Dear user, the duration for the paracetamol to reduce the fever will be less than 6 hours. Once the drug wears off, the fever will come back. Also shivering is a process by the body to generate heat when it is cold. Ciprofloxacin will not help unless the fever is caused by a bacterial infection. Good luck.
