You are suffering from cholinergic urticaria if you have hives along with itching which is due to release of a chemical called'acetyl choline' by the nerve endings in the skin when it is exposed to hot weather. The best way to beat this itching is to avoid the exposure of the body to heat like: taking a hot shower or bath eating spicy foods exercising or doing physical activities that increase body temperature stress or anxiety emotional responses (sadness, anxiety, anger, laughter) and in your case, going from a cool environment to a hotter environment without allowing the body time to slowly acclimate to the temperature difference.
