Hello Thanks for the Query By your words I would like to know first that is you mother a hypertensive(BP) Patient and if yes whether she is on some.Medication or not. Regarding problem it seems more of stress related than pathological I advice you to visit your dentist tell him/her to explain the whole procedure to your mother. In advance than let her take a call when she wants to get it done. Treatment for these type of pts should be done during early afternoon as this time BP is in normal limits as per research. Tell your dentist to keep the multiple appointments of short duration. Do check the BP before and after the treatment. If your mother is on medications for BP do tell her to take medication one hour prior to the procedure . If the problem still.Persist please visit a physician Thank you Dr.Aman Bhatia
