My sister went to the er maybe a month ago (for fainting/seizures, we later found out she has pots disease). The nurses injected "something" in her stomach every morning in a different place on her lower stomach. They kind of just stabbed it in. At first the marks we thought were bruising, but weeks later they kept getting darker n spreading upwards like veins (or like if something is leaking). Any recommendations on what type of doctor we can try to see about this. We live in trinidad but the government health care is not so good. It was the government hospital that did this, and the nurses did not log what they injected in her stomach. We have no clue as to what type of doctor we should carry her to. Currently she is in over 5 clinics due to her unique medical state. My sister is 24 years old with multiple autoimmune diseases and some other things yet to be diagnosed.
