I am feeling with tooth pain on left side of face followed pain beneath the ear and then on forehead. It was a stobbing pain for a 1 hour and then it disappeared. Went to dentist, he had done OPG and then suggested COMBIFLAM as if there is no dentist medication need to be done. He had suggested it could be TMJ and SINUS and adviced for ENT consulatation. Went to ENT referred to CT scan sinus and spotted with mild sinutitus but the radiologist adviced me to have MRI. ENT doctor said i am suffereing from Trigemianal Neuraglia and gave MAZETOL tablet which was supposed to a tablet for FITS patient. WENT to Nero Surgeon ad adviced to take MRI 3T scan where again results turned with no significant of tumors or trigeminal nerve is normal. Dont know what to do but still enforcing pain at times after eating.I lost my taste after taking tablets not all specfically SALT taste and feeling nervousness at times.Having a big doubt whether the problem i am facing because of TMJ or TN.

You better first concentrate on problem in relation to your teeth .The possibility lies in having an impacted /malposed last molar in lower/upper jaw .If this is cleared in that case get the total checkup done if any tooth on left side is having cavity or deep pocket r periapical sensitivity, once all this is cleared than you have really undergone big trouble and initially what is the origin /cause of pain we can think of pain from nerve which is last in such cases as any tooth having deep gingival recession or exposure of pulp can give you this type of pain .I suggest you better visit a dental college /Institution where all the specialists are available and can give you a proper diagnosis and treat your case accordingly. Wishing you early recovery.

Sir if you don't have any dental problem ( no cavities in your teeth and no gum problem) the reason for the onset of pain could only be attributed to the ear and throat. However do ask your dentist if your third molar or wisdom tooth is fine and if there is any chance it's giving you trouble. If your dentist rules out third molar problems , then this could be a TMD which again would have to be diagnosed from your Xray and exami min you. Ask your dentist also if a splint would be required. If both these options fail I suggest you get your BP tested too. High blood pressure could cause problems too. If high blood pressure present take ECG to rule out any cardiac involvement too.
