Can medications make external piles more worse? Before I was fine with the small inflammation I had on my anal edge since one year no pain no itching no discomfort while sitting standing. But when I started consulting doctor it's getting more worse. She gave me medicines and ointment to apply on that area and within a week it became thrombosis (a hard lump with blood clot) and caused me so much pain almost 10 days and during this I noticed vaginal yeast infection even when i'm cleaning that area more properly. I hadn't experienced this thing ever since I noticed this lump first one year ago. And when this hard lump with blood clot got fine and now i'm experiencing starting of same irritation that I experienced when this blood clot occurs. She told me I must have eaten something hot like garlic ginger onion when honestly I haven't. No spicy food or outside. Even i'm eating fruits daily. Having curd or milk daily. Before medication I haven't experienced this thing even when I was eating more garlic ginger and maida items too and now i'm not even eating these things still it's like this. She gave allot of medicines (12- ofloxacin, 20-pilon tablets, 15- metrogyl tablets, 20-cefixime tablets, 60- pilex himalaya still consuming pilex, anovate ointment first 10 days then when I consulted her for worst condition of thrombosis she gave smuth ointment (still using) and a powder to use in water while having sits bath two times. I'm now sick of all such things. What should I do now? Please suggest me.

The answer to your question is no. Medicines are to relieve the problem, not to worsen. At the same time, I agree to the fact that inspite of doing everything as advised, you are not getting the desired result. I suggest you to stick to three medicines only. 1.keep your stool soft and regular with cremaffin or any other medicines. 2. Apply ointment (ano metrogyl) with fingers essentially before going to toilet and at bedtime 3. Sitz bath with betadine. If your symptoms don't resolve within 10 days then it is time to see a surgeon.
