Gap between two bones reduced in my left knee leading intolerable pain while walking and sometimes sitting also.Xray shown OA changes. Remedy please ?

First take necessary precautions in osteoarthritis like avoid long standing, kneeling, Indian toilet sitting etc. Then take a physiotherapy advice to strengthen the thigh muscles to reduce forces on degeneration of cartilage.
