My brother had been taking paroxetine cr 75 at night for last 2 years for the anxiety and ocd. Lately he complained that he feels emotional-less and less motivated. We contacted our doctor and he put him on duzela 20 mg in morning as well. My brother did well for next 2 weeks but he again developed motivation and numbness. 1. We got in touch to our doctor and he changed the timings of paroxetine only. He made it 37.5 mg once in morning and once at night.. 2. My brother actually improved and got his good emotions back by only tweaking with the timings of paroxetine. My question is, was the paroxetine dose too high that made him emotionally numb? Shall we further reduce the dosage of paroxetine if it can cause emotional numb-ness. Duzela is being continued as well. Kindly provide your useful insights in this issue. Thank you.
