lybrate-user last time I consulted you .you were taking amlo at. I don't know the need for sudden change for other medicine of same classes if your bp was controlled without any side effect. I had told you to monitor your bp and my plan was to reduce you medication if it was controlled. So much change without clear indication atleast is not recommended. Yes definitely cilnidipine which is like amlodipine is also vasodilator agent and is prone for causing flushing and nasal stuffiness or us perception such symptoms as allergy can be considered. I would request you to get back to previous medicine i.e amlo at as you were comfortable on it and bp was controlled. Check your bp for atleast 3 days and if controlled I would advice you to downgrade your medicine rather than just play with other molecule baselessly.

Metoprolol and all beta blocker medicines can cause nasal stuffiness. If you have been diagnosed with allergic rhinitis, other drugs may be better for you.
