What type of preventive medications/pre-medications should we take or take in advance when working in industries having metal works which can cause injuries while working resulting in tetanus infection What is tetanus infection and what is the time frequency for taking the tetanus injection, should it be taken yearly or after every six months.(i had taken tetanus injection 5 months back) Is there another important medications.

Tetanus is a disease caused by clostridium tetani bacteria which enters through any wound in the body and after three weeks causes neurogenic symptoms to occur and TT injection immunity remains for six months and while working wear a mask if there is any exposure to chemicals, wear hand and foot gloves to protect direct exposure to skin etc
