Both her weight and height are normal for age. So there is no need for being so tensed! it is not abnormal for children this age showing less interest in food. They are more curious about exploring their surroundings. Make sure you give one boiled egg and one fresh seasonal fruit everyday. This will take care of half her requirements. Cut down on liquids (milk, juice etc), as they tend to fill the child's small tummy, but not necessarily giving all required nutrition. She should be made to sit with rest of the family for meals. This way she can watch the elders and imitate eating by herself. Also her diet will be under supervision also provide food that she can pick up and eat. This will help develop a sense of individuality. Tv or videos on mobile phones should not be shown while eating. This cause more harm than good. Also ensure that she's not full of processed food already (biscuits, chocolates etc), that shes too full to eat home based food.

Hi lybrate-user, 1. As you mentioned she is not eating well in that case we need first your daughter's weight and exact age by that we can really identify first is she underweight for her age or not. 2. So if she has proper weight for her age and she is picky eaters than you don't have to worry too much but definitely take some corrective steps in your daily habits. 3. And last if she is underweight for her age than you need to consult pediatrics a nearby to evaluate her by some formal clinical examinations and if needed lab or other investigations. Children have wide range of habits of eating so one specific advice can't apply to all. So following up to one paediatrician can help you find some minor changes and you may find your solution. Thanks.
