My name is sarita kumari of age 50 years. Hailing from purnia bihar. Im a diabetic patient 2 years back I had pain in my right teeth of upper jaw. And it became difficult for me to even chew. The doctor prescribed for teeth removal. I got it removed. I got cured. But since 2 3 months. Pain started in my 8 number teeth of right upper jaw. Again the doctor suggested for teeth removal. Out of fear I got rct done. Pain got relieved n swelling too got lessened. But from few days I feel slight pain.in that teeth. With slight parotid swelling of right side. Feel heaviness in my throat n slight pain. And even slight swelling in cheek pain subsides on taking pain killers. Pain is of on and off type.

Dear lybrate-user, we need to see the radiograph of the concerned tooth to rule out the cause of pain and subsequent remedy. Kindly share the xray if possible. The 8 number tooth is wisdom tooth it would be better if you get an opg (a panoramic xray) done. You can continue taking medicines till then.

Hey there, keep taking the prescribed medicine. Also start doing warm saline rinses two times a day and also gargles with betadine oral solution two times a day. Consult your dentist, get x-ray done and if needed start with antibiotics and remove the tooth asap.
