Yes, I think you should meet up with aa counselor first and if that person recommends that you meet up with a doctor please do so immediately. The earlier the intervention, the better the results. Your reaction must be explored for any predisposition lurking in your system and quite beyond your awareness.

Yes you may consult a psychiatrist. This needs to be evaluated in detail. Also try relaxation and breathing exercises to help reduce anxiety symptoms in the meantime. Avoid caffeinated drinks.

Hi lybrate-user, the high dose of caffeine in some pre workout supplements can cause panic attacks. You may not need to visit a psychiatrist right away. Stay away from the supplements for a while, make sure you continue to do your daily routine. Invest some time on learning some relaxation techniques. If the anxiety is distressing and impairs your life in any way consider seeing a psychiatrist you will be okay. Have a great day.

It is never a good idea to use caffine and yohimbine. They both cause palpitations and anxiety apart from other serious adverse effects. If you have stopped using, it is good. Ciplar should be able to reduce your palpitations but if you have ongoing anxiety, please consult a psychiatrist.
