I did not have periods till now, last period came on 15th january. I have a history of irregular period for which doctor once asked me to take regestrone and after that I had my period. Can I take regestrone now again to have my periods as I have to travel after 10 days and want periods to get over by then.

Is there any chance of pregnancy. If yes then you need to do urine pregnancy test. It should be done 10 days after missing your period. For example if your date was 10th, then do the test on 20th. Before that it can give false negative or false positive test. If no then get your thyroid profile, cbc, fsh, prolactin, blood sugar fasting checked from some lab.If everything is normal then do an ultrasound of abdomen.For more details you can consult me.
