My son is 22 days old. Most of the time when he is awake he cries. Then his mother takes him in her arm and feeds then he stops crying and sleeps. Again when he wakes up he cries. Doctor has given him vitanova d3 for daily 10 drops and colicaid drop for colic pain. We cannot understand whether his crying is normal?

The crying indicates his hunger if he is calm and asleep after feeding. He has only one means of communication to tell u. Her mother will soon be able to understand by his crying patterns whether he is hungry or having some other discomfort. Ask her to take him on her left shoulder after every feed for burping. His stomach cramps will go. And she should learn to feed baby having good contact with nipples, so that he not swallow air.
