stopping rice is not a great idea. However, the best thing would be is to substitute white polished rice with brown rice (india gate brand is good). Brown rice is rich in fibre and helps to keep the intestines in tip-top working condition thus helping you maintain a slim waistline. Do not consume wheat or maida based food products as this contains gluten which hampers digestion thus making you feel full and bloated.
Make your rotis with rice flour, bajra flour or jowar flour instead.
Avoid dairy and dairy products. Dairy contains caesin which again hampers digestion. Instead have soya milk.
Following a plant-based diet
is great to lose weight.
Also drink around 4-5 cups of green tea per day, it helps boost the metabolism thus helping you lose weight.
You can start with a home workout program. My personal favourite is stott pilates. They have an entire 30 minute simple workout session on you tube which you can download easily. They are aerobic and strengthening exercises which will also help you lose weight effectively.
