try using sensodyne KF , use it as a tooth cream , apply the paste on your sensitive teeth and leave it for 10 mins and then rinse it out . try this twice a day for 7 days .

Ms. lybrate-user, all the sensitive toothpaste are almost same. It's the technique that matters. 1 brush your teeth with normal paste 2 rinse well 3 take some sensitive paste on your finger tip and massage it over the sensitive teeth for 30 sec 4 leave it there for 30 minutes 5 then rinse your mouth with water 6 repeats steps 2-5 for atleast 2-3 times a day for not more then a week even after following if the sensitivity doesn't get better, go see the dentist.

The main reasons for tooth sensitivity include:

Hello Lybrate user, let me tell you about the reasons of sensitivity the could be due to any reason eg. Caries, gum recession, enamel wear off etc. In tht case you should go for an opg x-ray so that a dentist can evaluate the reason behind your sensitivity. If there is no relief from sensitivity even after using sensodyne toothpaste then its better to consult a dentist as there are number of causes due to which sensitivity occurs. Cavities in tooth or teeth also can cause sensitivity which can be treated by only filling the tooth or teeth. Depending upon anti-sensitivity pastes can only increase the depth of the cavities if present and may lead to more problems like tooth pain, pus discharge for which rct may only be the solution left. So be safe than sorry!
