Very scared of gutta percha filling since it's hot n done in front f eyes. Does it hurt being placed in tooth.
Please explain.

Close your eyes. Don't worry as tthe tooth is dead. No pain occurs. Only instrument is hot. That is also not touched to your skin. Relax.

Hello mam, not at all Mam you won’t feel any thing when obturation is done.
To feel pain nerve fibre should be present but during the cleaning part all the nerves and blood vessels supplying the tooth will be removed because it is infected.

Not at all, the hot instrument is just used to cut the extra gutta percha and seal the root canal orifice by melting it. Open your mouth wide, and stay relaxed and do not breathe while thats inside your mouth thats it.

Hey there, no need to worry about the gutta percha as it is inserted inside the tooth cold and then a hot instrument is used to cut the extra length of gutta percha and also to seal it inside tightly. Dentists are skillful with it so relax and get your treatment completed. You can apply vaseline gel inside and outside the tooth related on your next visit.
