Esr (erythrocyte sedimentation rate) is a test that can tell you how much sedimentation and inflammation is in your body. It measures how quickly your red blood cells fall to the bottom of a super-thin tube. If you have a moderately elevated esr, you probably also have painful inflammation that you?d like to reduce. Target this inflammation with diet and exercise. You should also see if there are other medical reasons for an elevated or high esr rate. You may need to have your esr tested over time.
