When I was 15 I had oral sex with a male (male to female) after I got blisters on my vagina. But I have never been diagnosed with herpes or any medical condition. I have also practices unprotected sex since then and never given anything to my partner. I am 19 now and have only had 4 minor outbreaks. Right now I have another one with only 3 little sores that have not spread across my vagina. Yesterday I had sex with my partner of one month. We had vaginal sex but used a condom and did not have oral sex although he did touch the sore but after we had sex he washed his hands and showered and has no cuts or irritated skin on his fingers or groin area. Is it guaranteed or certain that he will get something? I?m very worried.

Hello- Female genital sores are commonly caused by sexually transmitted infections, but they may also be the result of skin disorders or other infections. Genital herpes is an infection that causes outbreaks of blisters or ulcers on the genitals. If they burst, the ulcers can take 2-4 weeks to heal.
