My name is sravanthi studying bds, actually today we had practical examination in general medicine and I got tuberculosis patient and I examined him and I stood near him 2 hours and examined heart beat with stethoscope where I was very close and he is taking deep expiration and inspiration. Now can I get tuberculosis from him? I'm having cold while examining the patient? Is there any chance I would get effect. Plzz tell me and wt precautions to be taken?
