So I am 26 year old female. I just restarting taking birth control pills after 7 years of being off of it. The first 5 days I would wake up at 9 am and take my pill. But day 6 I took it 5 hours late and the 7th day I took it 3 hours late. Then I took pills 8, 9, and 10 on time but missed 11 and 12. Didn't take those pills I missed. I also haven't taken my pill at the same time since and i've recently forgotten pills 15 and 16. I'm currently on day 17. I take junel fe 1.5/30. So its 28 days of pills 21 active and 7 placebos. I'm going to guess my birth control is not going to be reliable. Should I just wait until my period starts to restart? And should I use back up birth control? I was only taking the pills to reset my cycle after I had a chemical pregnancy in march.
