I am 20 year old female. I am suffering from tuberculosis and under treatment for 5 months now. I take r-cinex 600, combutol 1000, benadon, heptagon tablets. I had unprotected sexual intercourse a week back. I took unwanted 72 after an hour of my intercourse. But I took a hcg urine test at a pathology centre today. Will it work? My date of menstruation is on 14th. I also have constant fever and headache for the last two days.

Hello, thanks for your query on Lybrate "as" per your clinical history is concerned do take medications for tuberculosis regularly, regarding pregnancy you had taken unwanted 72 hours within 72 hours so there is no chance of pregnancy at all, pregnancy test is done in case you have missed period for 10 days so there is no need for any urgency, so it should be done after 24th only as your expected date of menstruation is 14th, regarding headache and fever you can do investigations CBC with differential and discuss with your treating doctor to change medications for tuberculosis.
