Hello, my mother has had a swollen lymph node for almost a month. It has significantly reduced in size but has not gone away. She has recently noticed another very small node next to it. She had a cold last week which is gone now. Her ultrasound said the lump was hypoechoic and elliptical and the doctor said it?s nothing to worry about. But it still hasn?t gone down. She has been very sleepy and has been feeling dizzy. She has had one episode of excessive sweating during the day. She refuses the go to the doctor again and i?m very stressed out. I just want to know if it?s likely to be cancer. The ultrasound report said it was just a reactive lymph node but i?m not convinced. Thank you for your time.
