I am a 19 year old girl and I have severe anaemia. Hb 6.9 and was found to have microcytosis. I am having severe and irregular menstrual bleeding almost four times a month. Really very confused about my body. Can you tell me what's happening inside my body?

Microcytosis is a condition in whichRed Blood cells are unusually small than their original size. Cells can be small because of hereditary (called hereditary microcytosis) or because they are not filled with enough hemoglobin, as in iron-deficiency-associated microcytosis.Thalassemia is a disease that ca cause microcytosis. So your doctor must have told you what type of microcytic anemia you have.
