Hello lybrate-user, ankylosing spondylitis is the disorder which cause pain in neck and numbness in upper limb. The medicine which are generally prescribed for these symptoms are mainly pain killers. Limited use of pain killers doesn't cause any serious complications. But if you take these tablets continue or in unlimited use, then there may be it cause complications like kidney disorder. So use these tablets for limited use. Pain is so severe that you cannot bear it then take these pills. If pain is bearable then conectarte on massage, yoga, exercise which make your muscles strong.
