Sir I have a little pain at left side of my abdomen. And doctor recommended kft. And the report of the said test was urea 26 and creatinine 1.08 and after about two months today the report of the said test is urea 41.5 and creatinine 1.21.meanwhile I am suffering from fever and could for which I am taking tab. cefpodoxime and potassium clavulanate, paracetamol and montelukast .my question is y is the leave of both urea and creatinine raised. Does the medicines that I am taking (mentioned above) have raised it or it is some other problem. Still the lateral reading is normal for both urea and creatinine but y is it raised .i m very depressed. please help.

The test report are within normal range. And as this summer season and also your intake of water must have reduced also ,due to fever so levels are raised.

The medicines given to you do not cause rise in blood urea and creatinine levels. The reason for the same seem to be different. Please get yourself examined and investigated by a nephrologist or physician.
