I am having some tenderness above my upper right premolar. Have been to a dentist and the x-ray shows that the tooth is ok but there is some inflamation at the base of the tooth. What should I do ?

That tenderness and inflammation may be related to the gum so take a antibiotic like sporidex 500mg and a apply a gum astrigent like sensoform gum paint at the base of tooth daily twice but I don't how your dentist has not rule out this.
