Have pcos, had hucog 5000 shot on day 16 and on susten 200 mg twice a day from day 19. From day 27 having itching sensation around breasts and urticaria/hives around waist, back, thighs. Is it due to the side effects of medication? What should I be doing?

Hello, Though unlikely that allergic manifestation will arise after 8 to 9 days of intake of drugs (susten in your case, however you may consider to stop susten after consultation with your gynaecologist and take some anti allergic like fexofenadine.

Yes can be side effect of progesterone (susten). Talk to your gynec and can substitute it with other preparation. And need to take anti histamines for itch and hives.
